Employees were given a free cup at the start of the campaign to encourage them to be more environmentally aware. In order for the reusable cup to play a central role in the Schwarz Group, the disposable cups were abolished for the sake of the environment. This is an enormous contribution when you consider that around 375,000 disposable cups were used every year in the Schwarz restaurants alone.

Cups and lids are recyclable

Both the cup and the lid are made of polypropylene plastic, which is recyclable. The reusable cup can be used up to 400 times. 

The reusable cup has a lower environmental impact than a disposable cup after just the fifth use. The reusable cup is also manufactured locally in Bavaria. This avoids long transport distances and guarantees high quality standards.
