4.1. Web tracking using Google Analytics

Purpose of data processing and legal basis

The same information that is collected when you use our website (the page from which the file was requested, the name of the file, the date and time of access, the amount of data transferred, the access status such as “File transferred”, “File not found”, etc., a description of the type of web browser used and an anonymous IP address – shortened by the last three digits) is also evaluated by us using Google Analytics. The company Google Inc., which is commissioned by us for this purpose, sets an additional permanent cookie in your Internet browser in order to create a pseudonymised user profile. This permanent cookie makes it possible to recognise your browser when you visit this website again. This is useful for user navigation, statistical evaluations, adaptation of our web pages to your needs, and the protection of our website against irregular requests.

The data collected using Google Analytics technology are not used to personally identify visitors to this website. The usage data stored in the cookie are also not merged with personal data about the bearer of the pseudonym. The legal basis for this data storage and use via the permanent cookie is Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The legitimate interest of GreenCycle arises from the interest in being able to improve its own website. You can object to the collection and storage of these data via the permanent cookie by Google Inc. at any time with effect for the future. To do this, you must install and use a browser plug-in that prevents the information collected by the cookie from being transmitted to Google Inc. The following link will take you to the corresponding plug-in. In this case, a permanent “Do not track” cookie is set by Google in your browser so that Google Analytics technology is no longer used.

If the data processing is based on consent pursuant to Article 6 (1) (a) or Article 9 (2) (a) GDPR, you may withdraw the consent at any time with effect for the future, without affecting the lawfulness of processing up to that point.
